So much is happening at the moment, the excitement of everything is keeping my awake at night. My mind is so restless! You know when you were little and it was the day before X-mas and you were too excited to sleep, that´s me at the moment. Everything is still a bit secretive, but I promise to give details as soon as things are more set in stone!
In my lunch Box: Eggs is a great source of protein, and I´m running out of time to prepare anything else for lunch today to take with me. When it comes to managing your diet preparation is key to make sure that you control what is going into your body. The worst thing I now is being stranded in a food court with only sh*t to eat. Managing your diet can be so easy, just make sure that you have a toolbox of lunch options that won´t take you ages to prepare when time is of the essence.
I mean it´s not the end of the world if I would have to eat McDonald’s to get some food in my system, but I really prefer not to. No, I lied it is the end of the world :) My point is manage your diet by being prepared, so you´re not forced to put crappy processed food into your body because there was no other option.
Have a great Tuesday peepz!
Hope you have had a great Monday and start of a new week! I had a really good day at Fitness Institute of Australia, it is the second week on certificate IV. Advanced Resistance training and Advanced Aerobic training was on the timetable.
Ok my new obsession is ”Raw Organic Red Kale chips” AMAZEBALLS! I either sprinkle them on top of my salad for a delish and crunchy garnish or I just have it as a ”stand alone” snack. These are from Lovingearth and I bought them at Taste Organic in Crows nest, however lovingearth has a web shop. How good is that! If you´re into healthy foods check out their product range.
It is seriously so easy to be healthy but at the same time enjoy amazing food!
By the way, I´m so nervous and excited, in one hour I have a Skype interview with a Swedish company for a project Manager role. Wish me luck!
04.00 am and I could not get back to sleep, so frustrating to be a morning person sometimes… At the same time I love being awake early and have some time for myself. Been enjoying a nice cup of tea in our new cups that Maria, Cameron’s client got us and watching swedish tv shows online.
Time to get some breakfast and then Alexis is picking me up for some Sunday morning training. We have planned to ditch the gym and get some cardio done at the beach. So excited, I hope the sun comes out soon!
How are you guys spending this Sunday?
Happy Friday peeps!
Finally Friday again, which means that I will be spending some quality time with my favourite person in the world (besides my Mamma and brother of course)! Last Sunday we spent the day on the beach, sooo good! I love when Cameron takes me to all his little secret spots and private beaches where we can spend some time alone without being disturbed. Sometimes the most simple things are the absolute best!
Keep it Simple stupid!
Again I´m struggeling to keep my breakfast varied, I get so into eating the same thing every morning which is just stupidity on my part. I need to make more of an effort to eat a varied diet! It doesn´t have to be complicated, keep it simple!
Todays breakfast: Egg, Goji berries, Brazil & Cashew nuts, Green tea.
Supplements: 2 Multi- Intense Vitamins, Digestive Enzyme, D3 and Fish oil, all from Poliquin
Infused Dried Organic Blueberries from absolutefruitz
I have a new little favourite that I have added to my healthy snacks, breakfast and baking. We all know that blueberries have a diverse range of nutrients especially with high levels of Minerals and Vitamins. So why not indulge in this super snack more often. Blueberries are also high in fibre, low in calories and very rich in antioxidants.
Obviously fresh is always best, however sometimes I find that the fresh ones doesn´t taste much at all. The dry ones are really rich in flavour and I´m totally obsessed!
They are perfect to bring to work or school as a snack mixed with nuts and seeds, I alternate the blueberries with goji berries to get my daily boost of antioxidants.
Breakfast: Quark, pumpkin seed, sunflower seed, coconut flakes, walnuts, blueberries
Life caught up with me which resulted in the blog being neglected. I have been trying to sort out my Visa situation, and it has just been I nightmare, however it is out of my hands now and I´m just holding my fingers crossed that everything will go well.
Certificate 3 finished last week, and this week was the first week on certificate 4 which is the actual certificate that will qualify me as a personal trainer. Everything is happening so fast and I kind of rushed into this as I was afraid that I would be kicked out of the country. I must say that I have learned some really good and interesting stuff though. One thing that really stood out to me in one of the session in resistant training was the discussion about ”your perfect weight”…
The lecturer made an interesting point about how people can be ”skinny fat” and more rarely people can be ”fat skinny”. There are different methods that can be used to determine your perfect weight. I have never been really strict when it comes to my weight, I have always just gone after how comfortable I feel in my own skin and how I think my clothes fit. The interesting thing here is that we are all so different and there is an ideal weight that you should have taking into consideration your genetic factors such as bone structure.
This is one of the key messages that Fashionablefit stands for: Don´t try and change into something you´re not, you will go through life miserable trying to achieve something that is unachievable for you. Embrace who you were born to be, and live a healthy lifestyle where you will achieve your perfect weight!
Lunch today; Moroccan chicken, rocket, baby spinach, cucumber and quinoa
Thought I would just post this before I´m hitting the gym.
I´m obsessed with how the guys in the background are dancing. The moves are unbelievable and the lyrics makes me realise that as long as I have Love On Top, I have sunshine in my life! Don´t forget to cherish and be grateful for all the love you have in your life!
This is how Fridays should be spent…
I started the day with quark mixed with vanilla protein powder and water, dried blueberries, goji berries, pumpkin and sunflower seed. It is seriously heaven!
I also had one of my delicious protein cookies, but this time I had cranberries and raisins in them. After breakfast It was time to hit the gym with Alexis.
After training we went down to the beach, it doesn´t get better than this!
Not a bad way to spend your Friday, and tonight I´m catching up with my lovely friend Marique and her boyfriend over Sushi. Such a good day!
Hope you guys had an amazing Friday as well? xx
Who doesn´t want lean legs? Well I certainly do…
Generally I´m really hesitant to any products that is meant to help you get leaner, I do prefer eating and training myself sexy and lean. However if there are products on the market with natural ingredients that you know promotes fat loss and can get you lean, why not?
Lean Legs 2.0 contains unique patented ingredients that are designed to help protect the body from increasing body fat % as well as helping to liberate stored fat cells to be used as energy.
18B-Glycerrhentiinic Acid Phytosome is a specific component found in licorice that has a unique mechanism that inhibits the binding of cortisol (elevated in stressed and overweight individuals) from being used in the lining of fat cells. Thus allowing the fat cell to be more capable of being broken down and used as energy rather than accumulating as harmful fat in the body.- Source (us.cpoliquin.com)
As females we have a lot of estrogen which means that we sometimes hold fat around our legs. Cameron´s client was using it before competing in figure, and she believed it actually really worked for her. I´m really excited to see what results I will achieve with lean Legs.
If you are interested to purchase Lean Legs 2.0 you can buy it through Cameron. Mention my name or fashionablefit when you make an inquiry and get 5 dollars off. Make an inquiry by emailing email@example.com
Have a great Wednesday night tootsies, Xx
It has been a really busy weekend and even busier two first days at FIA where I´m studying to become a personal trainer.
We spent the entire weekend on the IFBB comp, which was really exciting but at the same time so exhausting because of all the adrenaline. I´m not referring to my legs when I´m talking about lovely legs, although they are getting pretty good with this new product from Poliquin. Stay tuned for my upcoming post about lean legs. YOU DON`T WANT TO MISS THIS!
Tonight I´m having chicken lovely legs for dinner, and I must say they are quite lovely.
Chicken lovely legs marinated in Moroccan seasoning, served with broccolini and oven roasted sweet potato with herbs. Yummy!
