This is me a few hours ago thinking should I train or not? OMG I probably went over all the reasons possible not to train in my head. I´m juggeling a lot of things at the moment and I easily feel overwhelmed and the need to cut out things like training to keep up. But the thing is there will always be reasons why you shouldn´t do something, as well as there will always be reasons why you should do something. I believe that we all have that strength/motivation within ourselves to turn things around, we just have to dig deep enough!
After having convinced myself that ”I better drag my ass to the gym”, I felt so pleased! There is nothing better than finding that last bit of motivation and overpower that lazy mind. I seriously got on and off the bus 3 times on my way home because I couldn´t decide whether I should take the bus to the gym or not. You like that?
Anyway I ended up having the best work out and I´m now enjoying my lazy time with no regrets!
So if you think you can´t find the motivation, think again! Think of me telling you ”You better drag your ass to the gym”!!!!
Still having my cheat meal even though I´m doing this 3 week challenge, I´m determined that I will achieve my goals even though I´m giving into my cravings. I must say that week 1 of the 3 week challenge went really good. I did 5 weight session and I brought my lunchbox to work everyday.
Even though Ben & Jerry´s Ice Cream is not gluten-free nor organic, I´m really impressed with their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) work. The company only use fair trade products in the ice cream and I believe they have great values! LÖVE companies that wants to do good for our society! Read about their activism here! >>
Have a great evening/day!

I´m off to the gym, time for some bad ass deadlifts! Have a fab Saturday tootsies!
MY FAVOURITE GREEN PLATE – AVOCADO AND QUINOA SALAD
I know my special someone would probably curse over this meal, but quinoa is loaded with protein!!!! Working with a project with focus on sustainability, the environment, innovation and CSR has really opened my eyes to a lot of things. The meat industry for example has a great negative impact on the environment and actually contributing to global warming according to the FAO of the United Nations. It is good to know that you can minimize your global footprint by having more vegetarian meals.
I will never cut out meat from my diet, but I don´t mind a vegetarian meal like this one every now and then… :)
Have a great Friday night!
How are you guys travelling with your goals?
Compared to rise Quinoa is rich in minerals like magnesium and zinc, as well as loaded with protein and good fibres. I´m having a bit of an Quinoa obsession at the moment. Kim´s way of mixing the Quinoa in a fresh salad with squeezed lemon and salmon was watering my mouth. She also gave me this great tips to use vegetable stock when boiling the Quinoa. Apparently it gives it an amazing taste, this I gotta try!
I´m so pleased to se that you guys are getting on and joining the 3 Week Challenge.
I LÖVE IT, LETS DO THIS TOGETHER CHICAS!

3 WEEK CHALLENGE – ARE YOU WITH ME?
I want to encourage you to set a goal that you would like to achieve within 3 weeks, starting NOW! It doesen´t have to be a fitness goal but it should be a goal that will improve your overall health and wellbeing. I want you to set 1 goal that is the actual end goal that you want to achieve, however to make it realistic and achievable I want you to set 2 more goals that will help and enable you to achieving the end goal. Are you with me?
Keep reading I´ll reveal what my end goal is and what my secondary goals are to achieve my primary goal…
Before I left Sydney I did my BioSignature and my fat percentage was 10.4, before the boys arrived to Sydney I was at 9% body fat. But with lack of training, dining out, and having a lot of treats I went up to 10.4% (which is still good in my book!). The interesting thing here is that where I was showing an increase was directly a result of my changed lifestyle during their stay. I´m not a Poliquin BioSig practitioner but Cameron is and I think this is what had happened….
TOP 3 PRIORITIES:
- My back had increased as a result of having more carbs (gluten-free banana bread, bread and burgers)
- My hip was up as a result of having more sugars
- My hamstring was up as a result of poor food quality (dining out and not having access to organic whole foods)
1. My primary and end goal is to reach 8.5 % body fat in 3 weeks time starting now.
2. My secondary goal to control the quality of food I consume and I will do this by preparing lunchbox everyday.
3. My secondary goal is also to train a minimum of 5 resistance sessions per week for 3 weeks starting now.
I´m always up for a challenge and it´s sometimes fun to see what you can actually achieve when you put your mind to it. I don´t think that I need to lose more body fat I simply want to see if I can achieve it within the time given. I don´t want to go lower than 8.5% being a female and all…
So are you up for the challenge? You obviously don´t have to be so extreme! Your goal could be that you want to try yoga for 3 weeks and you will set secondary goals that will enable you to achieve your primary goal.
Leave a comment if you are joining the 3 Week challenge, or just do it in secret….
Let´s do this together :)
